Today’s post will be about colors. Sorry if I don’t have enough examples.
I think it’s a tough step because I am not great with colors so it’s difficult for me to see which colors work and which doesn’t. There are too many theories.
What I’ll do is observe other illustrators and painters and study their choice of colors. Then I apply what I know to my own work. There’s too many to name so I’ll leave it you children to google up the professionals. But don’t just stay with Mary Blair. Study other artists.
I guess that’s all I can explain. It may look simple to decide the flat colors but for me it can take a while because again, coloring is my weakness.
