To all my friends that I’ll be mailing their cards to, this is what yours will look like.
I have just received Prisma markers for Christmas and I’m already using them like a maniac. My original plan was to send them digitally but the idea sounded ridiculous. Inking them traditionally only to have them scanned, colored digitally, printed in bad quality and smaller size, and then sent? It’s much simpler to work straight with markers and mail the real deal.
Hopefully I’ll buy myself a white gel pen so I can create my own highlights.
I colored Edd’s gift first since it looked more festive, also creepy. I wish scanners wouldn’t destroy colors though.
I’ll get right back to work around the 26th or 27th. Merry Christmas, everyone~
Sorry about my previous depressing post. I’m usually not like that in person.
Anyway, back to business. These pictures give you an idea what to expect in your Xmas cards, to those that requested it.
The ones that I am working on first are the ones I am going to mail to my faraway friends. They’re 50% done, so now I have to color them and make it pretty somehow. I have around of 10-12 pictures to mail I believe, so I have to be quick.
They’re all traditionally inked since I move a lot faster than digitally inking. I wanted them to be a surprise but in the end I wanted to show my progress.
Also I have received everyone’s notes and emails so don’t worry. Once I am done with the mailed ones, I’ll move on to electronic ones and others that I’ll be handing in person.
Sorry if I haven’t been updating much as I used to. A lot has happened last week, birthday party, Ricky’s passing, university work, holiday plans, etc.
I hope to make it on time for the holidays. I have so much planned for you guys~
